Location

New Forest...

Lyndhurst has a selection of many good pubs, restaurants and shops. There is also the New Forest Museum and Visitors centre, as well as an 18 hole golf course, cycle hire and the New Forest tour bus which links to several of the larger villages within the New Forest National Park. Look in the 'local information' section for more information.

With our central location we are only a few minutes walk in any direction from open forest, so whether you are looking for a relaxing break to explore the New Forest or here on business you are sure of a warm welcome and a comfortable stay.

Welcoming the Olympic Flame!

Lyndhurst is one of the villages on the flames route from Bournemouth to Southampton on Day 57 (Sat 14th July), and it will pass through the High Street at approx 10.00am.

Southampton will then hold an Olympic Torch evening celebration event on Saturday 14 July, starting at approx 4.00pm at the Mayflower Park.

Olympics 2012

In the summer of 2012, hundreds of thousands of people will come to London and the UK for the Olympic and Paralympic Games – whether they are ticket holders or are simply looking to soak up the atmosphere. If you are thinking of visiting, now is the time to choose where you want to stay.

Lyndhurst is very well placed in between London and Weymouth for anyone attending the Olympic events at either of these locations, as well as being a beautiful and relaxing place to just take a break.
